KARACHI: Nine suspects including two foreign nationals were arrested during police raids in different areas of the city on late Thursday night, ARY News reported.
According to police, the suspects were involved in various heinous crimes.
Two street criminals were apprehended in separate raids in F.B Industrial area and Pakistan Bazar of Orangi Town. Police also seized weapons and narcotics from their possession.
Meanwhile, police also arrested five drug-peddlers in two raids at Jackson Market and Orangi Town.
Furthermore, two Afghan nationals detained for staying illegally in Sharifabad. The city police have also lodged cases against them under the foreigners act.
It is pertinent to mention here that the city police in recent months have intensified crackdown against the street criminals and other miscreants.
