Karachi police arrest, 250 individuals, PTI workers

KARACHI: In a crackdown against lawbreakers, Karachi police arrested 250 individuals, including a significant number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

The police officials continue their efforts to identify lawbreakers by utilizing CCTV footage to identify individuals involved in vandalizing vehicles and tried to baffle law and order situation in the metropolis.

Meanwhile, the arrested individuals including PTI leaders and activists are booked under anti-terrorism charges.

The police officials are on high alert to maintain peace and stability in the city and take action against lawbreakers.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) asked people to save the country following the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Al-Qadir Trust case.


The appeal was made from the official Twitter handle of the PTI.

“They have badly pushed injured Imran Khan. Pakistan’s people, this is the time to save your country. You won’t get any other opportunity,” the tweet from PTI Twitter handle read.
