Officers, headed by SP Clifton Amjad Hayat, conducted a thorough search at the shop and later sealed it.
According to sources, the shop was allegedly providing arms and weapons to disgruntled Mirza.
They told that police also seized record of weapons sold by the shop to ascertain quantity of weapons provided to the PPP leader. It is learnt that a rifle was also recovered from the shop whose license was registered in the name of Mirza’s son.
Some weeks ago, law enforcement agencies had raided the same shop and recovered prohibited bore from there. A case was also registered against the shop.
