F-8 Kachehri attack: ATC sends 15 suspects to jail on judicial remand

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday sent 15 suspects, allegedly involved in F-8 Kachehri attack, to jail on judicial remand.

After hearing the arguments of the counsel, ATC Judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi sent the suspects to jail on judicial remand.

Foolproof security measures have been taken during the proceeding of the case. Police brought the suspects amid strict security.

The police had arrested the suspects on Saturday and had recovered weapons from their possession. The suspects were identified as Nasir, Saqib, Atif, Masood, Afzal Farooqi and others.

Earlier, police had arrested three accused allegedly involved in an attempt to kill a civil judge of Islamabad in Rawalpindi, ARY NEWS reported on November 17.

As per details, unidentified armed men had opened fire at the vehicle of Civil Judge Suleman Badar near Rawalpindi’s Chakri Interchange.

The judge was traveling along with his family to Islamabad from Lahore, when his car was ambushed at Chakri Interchange. No casualties were reported in the firing incident, said local police.
