According to police, Dr. Khalid Mahmood Soomro was gunned down by unknown persons after offering Fajr prayers at a mosque here in Sukkur.
His body was taken to a hospital where it will be shifted to his home town of Larkana.
The JUI-F leader had arrived in Sukkur for attending a party’s convention. He was the Secretary General of the party’s Sindh wing and a former Senator.
