John Abraham is on the spree of replacing Akshay Kumar. It is heard that 2002 blockbuster ‘Aankhein’ is going to have an extension film as ‘Ankhein 2’. The film that had Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles will now have John Abraham and Anil Kapoor.
The makers of Ankhein are all set to shoot the next installment of the film which will start as the extension of the last film. The producers have also zeroed the final cast that has Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham in the leading roles. Amitabh Bachchan who was the soul of first installment remained unchanged in the second edition also.
The big hit of 2002 was based on a Gujrati play ‘Andhalo Pato’ in which three 3 blind men Akshay, Arjun and Paresh Rawal did a bank robbery. Ankhon 2 will start from where the first film left which means Amitabh Bachchan will get released from the jail with some new plans. Anees Bazmee will be directing the film in which John will essay one of the blind people. Anil Kapoor has also been roped in for an interesting role in the sequel.
The film that was first announced to be made in 2006 will now start rolling in May 2015.
