Irfan Siddiqui talks of starting peace process forgetting past bitternesses

ISLAMABAD: Member of the PM announced committee for peace talks and Advisor on National Affairs, Irfan Siddiqui has expressed his determination that a new day is to start forgetting bitternesses of the past – ARY News reports.

While addressing a press conference, Irfan Siddiqui said that a way for talks should be found out, whilst it would be better if Taliban also announce their committee for holding dialogue.

He asked the banned outfit to put forward its demands and said that the Government will see what it could do.

The Advisor to PM also said that if past happenings are also placed forth during the talks, then it will make the process difficult to reach a logical end.

He mentioned that we do not want to kick-off negotiations with threats of its failure.
