India clinches ODI series 2-0 after washout

MIRPUR: The third and final One Day International between India and Bangladesh abandoned after the rain stopped play at Dhaka and India clinches series by 2-0, ARY News reported.

On Thursday, India winning the toss decided to bat first, the Mirpur track continued to played havoc in the mind of the batsmen left India struggling at 119-9 before the rain interrupt play.

Among the Bangladeshi bowlers, the trio shared five wickets with Mashrafe Mortaza picking up 1 for 25 in eight overs, Al-Amin Hossain taking 2 for 23 in six and Taskin Ahmed claiming 2 for 15 in eight – one of the most miserly spells by a Bangladesh pace bowler. Shakib Al Hasan picked up three wickets in his spell of 7.2 overs.

India claimed the 3-ODI series by 2-0 and Indian right-arm fast bowler awarded with the Man of the series title.
