KARACHI:Imtiaz Shaikh has tendered his resignation from the post of General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, ARY News reported on Thursday.
According to the party sources, Imtiaz Shaikh, a former bureaucrat turned politician, has submitted his resignation to Pir Pagara from the party's post.
Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi Pagara does'nt accept the resignation, sources said. Shaikh has tendered resignation due to differences with some party leaders, sources added.
PML-F leader Pir Sadruddin Rashdi leaving for Dubai today, where he will likely to meet former president Asif Ali Zardari.
The decision on the resignation of Imtiaz Shaikh will be taken after Sadruddin Rashdi's return to home.
