ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzaib lambasted at the federal government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that the Prime Minister’s cabinet is still in its ‘D-Chowk’s sit-ins’ mode mentally.
During a TV interview, Marriyum, in her sharp criticism of the ruling party commented, “Imran Khan’s whole cabinet is still mentally sitting on the D-Chowk.”
Taking an aim at the federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry for his comments on the ongoing graft references against the Sharif family, Marriyum remarked that there was one adjudication going at the accountability court and the other was set up by Fawad Chaudhry.
Former information minister urged concerned institutions to take an action against such statements, else eyebrows will be raised, she cautioned.
Further, censuring the recent ongoing accountability process, Marriyum claimed that self-established allegations were being leveled against the PML-N leadership.
On the other hand, counsel of Nawaz Sharif also pushed an accountability court today to take notice of Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s statement claiming that the former prime minister will behind the bars again.
Nawaz’s lawyer, Advocate Zubair Khalid, said, “A minister has said that the former premier will 100% go to prison again. The case’s decision is about to be announced, so how then did he know that Nawaz will be sentenced?”
