ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of party leaders, ARY News reported on Monday.
According to details, the former premier has summoned a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders at his resident, Bani Gala, to review the current political situation of the country.
Former federal ministers Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, Shibli Faraz and other PTI leaders will attend the meeting.
The participants will brief Imran Khan about the Election Commission contempt case and Shahbaz Gill’s case. The meeting will also discuss Tehreek-e-Insaf movement and protest against rising inflation.

Earlier in the day, an Anti-terrorism court extended interim bail of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan until September 20 after he appeared before the court today in a terrorism case pertaining to hurling threats at a female judge and Islamabad police officials.
ATC judge Raja Jawad Abbas resumed the hearing after a gap with counsel representing Imran Khan, Babar Awan, saying that his client has appeared before the court.
The prosecutor has sought cancellation of Imran Khan’s bail citing his failure to appear before the investigation team probing the matter despite issuing three notices to him.
A terrorism case was registered against Imran Khan in Margalla police station for allegedly using derogatory language and threatening Additional Session Judge Zeba Chaudhry in his speech in Islamabad on August 20.
