According to police, two armed assailants on a motorbike fired upon IG Jail Nusrat Mangan’s convoy as it neared Lyari Expressway on Hassan Square. During the attack, the IG was not inside his vehicle, which was hit with 4 bullets. Hence, Nusrat Mangan was able to escape the attack unhurt.
The IG jail also stated that he was safe and that the vehicle of his staff member was fired upon.
