LAHORE: A woman was brought to the Services Hospital in critical condition after her husband threw acid on her face, ARY News reports on Sunday.
A khula (separation) case was ongoing in the court between Rashida Bibi and her husband Iqbal. Iqbal tried to reconcile with his wife but threw acid on her face when she refused.
Iqbal fled from the area after carrying out the attack on his wife.
According to the doctors, Rashida is in critical condition whereas she is feared of losing her both eyes.
Police, on the other hand, have started their investigation of the incident. Police officials have claimed that Iqbal will be apprehended soon.
