Govt urges people not to donate hides of sacrificial animals to banned outfits

ISLAMABAD: The government has urged people not to donate hides of sacrificial animals on Eid-ul-Azha to proscribed organizations.

According to a statement released by Interior Ministry, donating hides of sacrificial animals to organizations involved in terrorist activities is a crime.

The people have been advised to donate hides of their sacrificial animals to welfare organizations that are not proscribed under any national or international law.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Air Force has requested people to dispose offals of their sacrificial animals at specified collection points to avoid attracting birds, which can hit aircraft.

Flight Safety Officer Pakistan Air Force Saud Afridi requested from people to avoid dumping offals near airports or PAF Bases.
