KARACHI: In another incident of snatching of government vehicle, Board of Revenue Applet Tribunal chairman Azhar Khan lost his official car in Karachi’s south zone on Wednesday.
Unidentified armed men snatched the official car from chairman Azhar Khan at gunpoint from the limits of Gizri police station. Police said that the two armedmen snatched the government vehicle near Saher Commercial area of Gizri.
It is pertinent to mention here that it was the third government vehicle snatched within a month in the same area. Another government vehicle was also snatched in Karachi south zone on Sunday.

Earlier, a government-owned vehicle had been stolen from Karachi’s upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area in Karachi September 15.
According to details, unknown thieves had stolen the vehicle from outside the residence of Malir Development Authority Assistant Director Kamran Kalhoro. A First Information Report (FIR) had been registered in Gizri police station.
It is pertinent to note here that Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar’s official vehicle was snatched at gunpoint in the Defence Housing Society (DHA) area of the city on September 8.
