ISLAMABAD: A court hearing Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case rejected former president Pervez Musharraf’s plea for exemption from presence in the  hearing, ARY News reported on Thursday.

The court also ordered Musharraf to appear in the court in the next hearing of the case on July 1st.

The counsel of the former military ruler had filed a petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Wajid Ali Khan for Musharraf’s exemption from appearing in the hearing.

The medical report of the former president was also submitted in the court. The Prosecutor General presented his objection over the medical report of Musharraf.

Judge Wajid Ali Khan rejected the petition of the former president and ordered the guarantors of the former president to ensure his presence in the court on July 1st. The court also warned of the legal action if Pervez Musharraf not appeared in the court in the hearing on July 1st.
