PESHAWAR: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shareef toured the city on Thursday – ARY News reports.
Corps Commander of Peshawar Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani welcomed the Army Chief on the occasion.
General Raheel Shareef was briefed about the Pak-Afghan Border, Tribal Areas and the security situation of the Malakand whereas the Army Chief was also informed about the ongoing operations against terrorists and the restoration of normal life in those areas.
He lauded the determination and morale of the military soldiers as well.
