Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen Rizwan Akhtar was also accompanied with the Army Chief.
Gen Raheel Sharif will discuss the ongoing counter terrorism cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan and the issues related to security in the border region.
The officials of the two countries are also expected to discuss further boosting the intelligence sharing to counter militant activities.
