Heavy downpours in Punjab have already taken its toll on villages and residents of different cities of the province.
In the latest incident, roof of a house caved in the native area of Jhawarian due to rains. All the four people present in the house died when rubble of the home fell over them. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital.
Similar incidents of roof-collapse are being reported from different parts of Punjab, especially from outskirt areas. More than 200 people have died after heavy rains lashed Punjab and parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
