Foreign Ministry reveals 37 prisoners of 65, 71 wars detained in India

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revealed that some 37 Pakistani prisoners of the 1965 and 1971 wars are still detained there in India – ARY News reports.

According to details, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted the details of 37 Pakistani prisoners detained at different prisons in India, who were caught during the wars of 1965 and 1971.

It was further stated that these prisoners range from 60 to 80 years of age.

Officials further told that the Pakistani High Commission in India has contacted the concerned authorities for the release of these prisoners of war (POWs).
