Security forces on an intelligence cue conducted raid in Jannikhel area of Bannu district today and arrested militant commander Waliullah, official sources said.
Security forces were attacked while conducting a search operation in Jannikhel Frontier Region, sources said.
Security men responded to the attack with retaliatory firing. A militant was killed in the gun battle whereas Commander Waliullah was arrested.
The arrested suspect said to be wanted to the law enforcement agencies in scores of cases of terrorism.
