According to a FC spokesman, an exchange of fire took place between the terrorists and the para-military force after which the militants were arrested.
He also said that the terrorists belong to a banned organization and wanted to damage government buildings.
They were also involved in the attacks on security forces, the spokesman added.
Large number of weapons including rifles, machine guns, magazine and walkie-talkies were recovered from the nabbed militants.
The arrested terrorists were shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
