The militants attacked a checkpost of FC in Ghalanai area of Mohmand Agency. The paramilitary force personnel foiled the attack and killed five attackers, official sources said.
A large quantity of explosives and ammunitions was captured from the possession of the terrorists.
The paramilitary force has launched a search operation in Ghalanai and adjoining area after the attack.
In an attack on law enforcement agencies on February 18, militants had killed nine members of Khasadar Force in two separate attacks in Mohmand tribal agency.
