Two cases of swine flu surface in Punjab

LAHORE: Two cases of swine flu surfaced in Punjab on Tuesday, with both of them women, ARY News reported.

A 32-year-old Farah, resident of Taunsa Sharif in Dera Ghazi Khan, was found affected with the swine flu and was admitted to a Nishtar Hospital, Multan. Similarly, another patient, named Rubina was also admitted to the same hospital.                                                                  

Punjab Health Department has expressed shock over surfacing of the swine flu and began investigation into it.

Medical Superintendent of Nishtar Hospital Dr. Ashiq said swine flu was spreading through cough and also called upon citizens to adopt preventive measures.
