ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Media and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the problems and discrepancies pointed out by the opposition regarding economy would be looked into, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

Awan said that the government came to power with the slogan of change and it will change the present systems for the better.

She also confessed that the government had a minimal margin for trial and error.

Awan was a guest on ARY News’ premier current affairs talk show ‘Power Play‘ alongside Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Rana Sana Ullah.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said the country will achieve economic stability after the passage of the budget 2019-20.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said the friendly countries including KSA, Qatar, UAE, and China have extended support to Pakistan to come out of current challenges.

The special assistant said the opposition parties cannot hoodwink the people and their protest calls were destined for failure.

Earlier, in a statement on Twitter regarding Pakistan Regulatory Modernization Initiative, she said the initiative was an important development toward making the process of permit and registration easy.

The Special Assistant said the small and medium enterprises will particularly benefit from this program.

She said the business community is going to be free of red-tapism.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the initiative was part of the reformative agenda of the PTI government.

She added that the purpose of the project was to bring changes in the centuries-old regulatory framework is to facilitate the business community.
