OGRA had sent a summary to Ministry of Petroleum in which it was recommended to increase the cost of petrol by Rs 1.47, hi-octane fuel by Rs 4.10 and high speed diesel by Rs 0.34. It was also suggested to decrease kerosene and light diesel prices by Rs 1.10 and one rupee respectively.
Finance Ministry rejected the summary and has ordered OGRA to maintain the current prices.
