ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday said accountability is the narrative of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
He was addressing on the floor of the National Assembly.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was working on the corruption cases in the past too. “Changes are being witnessed in the country’s political scenario after Prime Minister Khan assuming charge of his office”.
He said debt over Pakistan sharply increased up to Rs 30,000 billion in the past ten years from rs 6000 billion, we are just asking where the amount was spent.
Taking on Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, the minister said, the PML-N president doesn’t like to come in the session after doing a 4-hour long speech.
We need to strengthen our state institutions, expenses of the PM House and ministers have been sharply decreased owing to the country’s economic condition.

He lauded the Pakistan Army’s volunteer decision of not getting an increase in defence budget owing to crunch economic condition.
Earlier on Saturday, Federal Minister for Science and Technology rebutting Maryam Nawaz’s press conference had said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif could leave the country if her request for father’s plea bargain is accepted.
