RAWALPINDI: 70th Independence Day of Pakistan was on Monday celebrated throughout the length and breadth of FATA with great national spirit and enthusiasm.
A large number of events were organised in all agencies including Bajour, Mohmand, Khyber, Orkzai Kurram, North and South Waziristan Agencies, a press release issued by the media wing of military, Inter Services Public Relations.
A friendly cricket match was also played between Khyber and NWA teams at Younus Khan Cricket Stadium, Miraan Shah, which was witnessed by over 20,000 individuals including locals, mashraans, officials of civil administration, students and other members of the society.
Chief guest distributed the prizes among the best players and the team on this occasion.
