Police presented the five suspects, including father of Farzana Parveen, before the court in the hearing. The suspects refused to accept their crime after the charge sheet was filed on which the court adjourned the proceeding till July 7th and summoned eye-witnesses.
The suspects include Farzana’s father Azeem, brothers Zahid and Liaquat, ex husband Mazhar Iqbal and cousin Jahan Khan.
Farzana was stoned to death outside Lahore High Court by her family members after she married by choice.
