Mushtaq, a resident of Faisalabad’s Qasimabad area, fought with his younger brothers named Abu Bakar and Umar over an amount of Rs. 500 before setting them on fire.
The accused then attempted suicide by self-immolation.
The three brothers were rushed to Allied Hospital of the city for medical attendance. Two brothers Abu Bakar and Umar reportedly fled from the hospital after being provided first aid treatment by the hospital staff.
Mushtaq, who had allegedly set him and his brothers on fire, has sustained 70 percent burn wounds and his condition was critical, hospital sources said.
There are no whereabouts as to where Mushtaq’s brothers have fled.
