Faisalabad hospital patient not suffering from Ebola

Zulfiqar Ahmed, a man who had recently returned from Togo in West Africa to his native Chiniot, died today at a hospital in Faisalabad.

The doctors at Allied Hospital of Faisalabad suspecting symptoms of Ebola virus in the patient who had died early on Tuesday.

The patient was admitted at Faisalabad hospital on Saturday with high fever.

According to a joint statement of WHO and the NHSRC, Zulfiqar Ahmed was suffering from dengue fever and hepatitis C.

According to reports over 5000 people have died of deadly Ebola virus in the world most of them in the West African countries.
