KARACHI: Former federal ministers Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat and Khalid Ahmed Khan Kharral on Tuesday announced to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), ARY News reported.
They made this announcement in a meeting with President Pakistan Peoples Party-Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House in Karachi.
Former deputy speaker National Assembly Haji Nawaz Khokhar and Malik Mushtaq Awan were also present on the occasion.
Faisal Saleh Hayat, a politician from Jhang, has been several times elected member of National Assembly. He was elected MNA on PPPP ticket in 2002.
He served as federal minister in many ministries which include commerce (1988-90), environment, housing and works, interior (2002-04), and Kashmir affairs.
