Eradication of corruption, poverty govt’s priority: Firdous

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Saturday strong and autonomous institutions, eradication of corruption and development of backward areas are the incumbent government’s priority.

She took to Twitter to respond to detractors of the PTI-led federal government.

Ms Awan said the people stands shoulder to shoulder with Prime Minister Imran Khan to valiantly and steadfastly sail through troubling times. PM Khan’s goal is to find a permanent cure of the cancer that has ingrained in the system, she added.

“Eradication of corruption, poverty and inflation as well as development of the backward areas are our priorities.”

Firdous Ashiq Awan said history is testimony to the fact that severe criticism and opposition always made Imran Khan firm in his commitment and brought close to his goal.
