It said that elected parliamentarians are forbidden from campaigning in the by-elections. It has asked Hamza Shahbaz to submit a reply within the next 48 hours, while Imran Khan has been summoned on 27th August.
The returning officer said that Imran Khan was warned about staging the rally in the constituency. If he does not submit a satisfactory reply then the matter will handed over to the ECP.
