Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has streamlined vehicle licensing services, reducing 54 services to 14, a 74% decrease. This move aims to provide a unified, integrated digital experience, enhancing customer satisfaction and aligning with Dubai’s government goals.
Ahmed Mahboob, CEO of Licensing Agency at RTA, said this step is part of the ‘360 Comprehensive Services’ plan, focusing on seamless, proactive, and personalized services. The initiative integrates with the ‘Dubai Now’ app, boosting operational efficiency and government platform integration.
The RTA remains committed to making Dubai a global leader in smart transportation, Mahboob added. The service integration simplifies procedures, reduces steps and visits, and shortens processing times. It reflects a commitment to raising service standards and advancing smart systems.
The initiative uses advanced technologies and data integration to enhance licensing services. Electronic signatures are now allowed through the UAE Pass digital identity, enabling access to all RTA services through a unified platform. Key services like vehicle registration and license renewal have been streamlined, and new features like plate collection have been introduced, allowing customers to complete procedures remotely.
