The incident occurred at around 8 AM when some unknown miscreants riding on a motor-bike hurled a grenade targeting courtyard of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) minister’s residence but it landed on the roof, causing minor damage to the rooftop but no injury reported.
Umer Ameen, a brother of Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, talking to ARY News said that no casualty happened as there was no one in the house at the time of attack.
The residence of Ali Amin Khan Gandapur is located in Cantonment police area, which is a sensitive locality of the city as at houses sessions and high courts, DIK DPO office and other government offices.
