Dar chairs meeting to review trade with Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar revealed on Thursday that total volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan for the year 2012-13 was $2.3 billion including trade undertaken in Pak Rupee estimated at 50 per cent of the total exports, ARY News reported.

Ishaq Dar chaired a high level meeting in Islamabad to review the bilateral trade between the two countries. 

The Minister said that payments against exports to Afghanistan would no longer be in Pakistani Rupee and the prevailing method will be implemented from March 17, 2014.
