Court issues non-bailable arrest warrants for Captain Naveed and Meera’s alleged husband Atiq-ur-Rehman

Earlier, Meera had appeared before the court to attend the proceedings of a double-nikkah case. The controversial actress had always maintained that she had not married Atiq-ur-Rehman and said today she would get married in 2016. The actress had also remarked she did not copy anyone and it was in fact people who copied her.

The court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Captain Naveed and Atiq-ur-Rehman. According to reports, the court ordered both individuals be arrested and presented before the court for the next hearing.

Atiq-ur-Rehman has always alleged the actress had committed a crime by marrying Captain Naveed, when in fact she had already been married to him.
