The DG ISPR Major-General Asim Salim Bajwa in his tweet said General Raheel Sharif today called on Italian Chief of Defense Forces Gen Claudio Graziano.

The meeting between the two military leaders remained positive during which both the figures discussed military-to-military relations, enhancement of defense collaboration and training of personnel. Gen Graziano thanked Pak Army for its sacrifices and role in securing region and said that Pakistan Army has lot to offer to other armies in the world.

He also appreciated Pakistan’s success & expertise in fighting terrorism, adding that we see Pak Army with respect, admiration. The Italian Chief of Defense Forces also vowed to eliminate terrorism together.

Earlier upon his arrival at the Italian army headquarters, the COAS was presented Guard of Honor by a freshly turned out contingent of the Italian army.
