KARACHI: Owners of CNG filling stations have independently increased CNG prices by Rs2 per kg across Pakistan, ARY News reported.

The CNG owners have took undue advantage of the deregulation of CNG sector by the government. This is the second time CNG price is being increased in one month.

Around 70 percent of CNG stations have reportedly started selling CNG at Rs73 per kg without the consent of All Pakistan CNG Owners Association.

On the other hand, Chairman All Pakistan CNG Owners Association said the association had nothing to do with this price hike.

“The CNG association did not increase the price, but they would announce increase in the coming week,” he said.
