LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar, has decided to make direct liaison with the citizens with the help of latest information technology (IT) system to ensure smooth coordination, ARY News reported.
A system has been set up in the CM House for this purpose. He also made direct contacts with citizens through a video link in the offices of Regional Transport and Director Development of Dara Ghazi Khan. He also contacted citizens in Khidmat Centre established at Arfa Kareem Technology Park.
“I will not let people face obstacles in reaching out to me,” he said.

He will directly contact with the citizens through the video link. Citizens will directly talk to the Chief Minister to express their opinion about the departments concerned.
Under the new initiative, the chief minister will take direct feedback from the citizens about various services being provided in the government offices.
Usman Buzdar listened to the problems of people in these offices and issued directions for the redressal of the grievances of the complainants.
CM Buzdar said he was people’s representative and modern technology was being utilized for direct liaison with people as it greatly helped to save the resources and time. He said that he would continue to make contact with the people of other districts of the province.
