Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif also attended the meeting.
The meeting also discussed military operation in Shawal and reviewed overall security situation.
The prime minister was also briefed on successes in Shawal operation. He expressed satisfaction on the results achieved in the ongoing war on terrorism.
Among others in attendance were Federal Ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar, and DG ISI Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar.
