According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to the regional peace and defence cooperation during the meeting.
Both agreed to further enhance the defence and training cooperation between armies of Pakistan and Afghanistan, stated ISPR.
Earlier, on arrival at the General Headquarters, General Sher Mohammad Karimi paid tribute to the martyrs and laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
General Sher Mohammad Karimi has arrived Pakistan on two-day visit and will attend passing out parade at PMA Kakul as the Chief Guest on Saturday.
