ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Tassadduq Hussain Jillani has taken suo moto notice of an incident in Muzaffargarh in which a panchayat ordered the gang-rape of a woman, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Justice Jillani has sought a report on the incident from the Inspector General of Punjab Police on Feb 4.
On January 24 a panchayat had ordered the gang-rape of a 40-year-old woman after her brother was alleged of involved with a woman of the village.
