The officer, who has not been identified, barged into woman, named Kulsoom, residence in Islamabad and resorted to aerial firing.
A case has been registered against him at a local police station.
According to sources, the officer’s violent act provoked strong reaction from the woman’s brothers and they beat up the PM’s protocol official.
He was then moved to Poly Clinic.
