Buzdar lays foundation stones of eight development projects in Taunsa Sharif

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday visited Taunsa Sharif to lay the foundation stones of eight new development projects, ARY News reported.

The development projects have a price tag of Rs. 1.64 billion. The projects include the construction of City Taunsa Sharif Police Station with the cost Rs. 135 million.

The chief minister also laid the foundation stone of Tehsil Complex which is to be constructed with the budget of Rs. 106 million.

A patch of road with a length of 8.4 kilometres is also among the projects. It will be constructed with a cost of Rs. 200mn.

Among the projects is a patch of highway N-55 from Mangrotha Chowk to Basti Buzdar, the length of which is 14.5 kilometres.

Speaking at this occasion, the chief minister said that the Punjab government was working round-the-clock to facilitate the masses and no stone would be left unturned for public welfare.

Earlier in the day, CM Buzdar visited Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan, where he laid foundation stones of various development projects and announced expansions and upgradation of already-existing projects.
