LAHORE: A boy was killed while another sustained wounds when an speeding truck hit the motorcycle they were riding in Lahore early Sunday, ARY News reported.
According to police, the accident took place near Shah Alam Chowk when the truck ran over a motorcycle. As a result, seven-year old Ahsan was killed while 14-year old Ibrahim got injured.
The deceased and injured were shifted to a nearby medical facility.
Upon being informed about the incident, a police team quickly reached the spot and took the driver of the truck into custody.

This is said to be the second such incident in a week. Infuriated at the death of the child in the traffic accident, his family members staged a protest demonstration, demanding action against the driver.
