Karachi bound Khushaal Khan Khattak Express was stopped near Fazilpur when local administration received information of explosives planted on railway track.
Security Forces and BDS arrived at the scene and surrounded the area. Bomb squad cleared the area after defusing the bomb.
Civil Defence said that the weight of the bomb was five to seven kilograms.
BDS further swept the railway line in view of any possible threat after defusing the bomb.
