Bollywood stars are quick to tweet about trending topics on Twitter these days. The latest video to have captivated B-town’s finest is Deepika Padukone’s short film titled ‘My Choice’. The black and white short film features the actress narrating and laying out terms her own way, from a female’s perspective. The video has been directed by Homi Adajania, Deepika’s previous collaborator from Cocktail and Finding Fanny. The maverick actress has also recently battled depression openly by speaking about it and also trying to set up a foundation fro mental health issues. Deepika has continued her ongoign battles against societal ills by acting in this video which lends voice to gender equality.

The short movie showcases 99 females who express freedom of action and thought through their actions. Throughout the movie, Deepika’s voice narrates messages that make it clear to all that women should be considered equal and given the right to exercise their own decisions.
