BHITSHAH: Sufi singer Abida Parveen recoiled to see a stranger sitting in her car when she returned after performing at the music function during the Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, here in Bhitshah on Wednesday night.
Parveen, the Sufi singing legend of Sindh, left the vehicle immediately finding a stranger in her car.
Policemen present during the Urs celebrations for security, run towards the car and detained the stranger, local sources said.
Police, later granted security clearance to Abida Parveen, to leave to her home in the car.
Police chief of Matiari district, told the media after questioning the suspect that the detained man was a fan of Abida Parveen and residing in Hyderabad.
